Disney Land

Dallace and I took our first vacation since our Honeymoon and went to Disney Land for a week. We started planning back in Jan. and got a package deal with hotel and 4 day park hopper for a reasonable price. We drove down and then just left the car at the hotel. Our first night we walked all around Downtown Disney and walked through shops and had dinner at "Catel" a fancy but reasonably priced restaurant. We then spent Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Friday playing at Disney. No matter what age you are as soon as you enter the gates and start walking down main street you feel like a child who is seeing it all for the first time. Wed. we met up with our friends Harley and Kacy and their three children. We spent the rest of the week with them. They love Disney Land more then pretty much anyone I know. We all took turns riding rides and watching the babies. A note to the wise don't get in one of the boats at "SPLASH MOUNTAIN" with five other people over 200 pounds you will get drenched!!!! The new and improved "PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN" is so much fun they have added Jack, and Davey Jones. The new "NEMO: SUBMARINE RIDE" has very long lines but is worth going once. Since we were there all week we rode every ride, that was open. We met all my favorite characters (all the ones from my video game "KINGDOM HEARTS"). We spent most of our time in Disney Land but still did the best rides at California Adventure. "Talk with Crush" was amazing and very funny. "TOWER OF TERROR" was a favorite of Dallaces, we did that one a half dozen times. California Adventures is kind of lame but since most people spend there time at the other park there are never long lines at the rides.
